IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY KNIGHTS OF THE ALTAR

BRIEF HISTORY

The Immaculate Heart of Mary Knight of the altar started serving masses (weekdays/Sundays) as far back as when St. Leo Catholic Church Iju, later name changed to St. Kizito Catholic Iju was an outstation to St. Theresa ‘s Catholic Parish , Ifako Agege.

St. Kizito became a parish in 1998.

FUNCTIONS

The Association being a liturgical arm of the church have the following as it’s functions

  • Assist the priest in all liturgical ceremonies
  • Encourage response to call in religious and married lives
  • To bring members closer to God
  • To enlighten members on the church and her doctrines

 TIME OF MEETING

General Meeting:   After 10:30 am mass every first Sunday of the month.

Executive Meeting:   1st-3rd Saturday of the month by 6:00pm

Practices:   1st-3rd Saturdays between 8:30am-9:30am or 5:00pm-6:00pm

Washing of vestments /cleaning comes up every Saturday immediately after the 7:00am mass.
